Our Olive

Our poor 10 year old dog has arthritis, infectious tumors on her hip, a disfiguring infection on her ear flap, an inner ear infection and a tooth abscess (causing a 20 lb. weight loss). Under the vet's instructions, Fred has been treating what he can, every night in this frigid weather, to get her healthy enough to endure a tooth extraction, so she can eat. Her patience and endurance, and Fred's diligence are inspiring to me. She is the most pitiful looking animal you will ever see, but she has been such a blessing to our family and I have learned so many life lessons about me from her.
