"Be Still and Know that I am God"
Psalms 46:10
Two months ago this sweet girl, the first child of dear young friends, fell into a campfire and received 3rd degree burns on both hands and arms. For almost eight weeks the little family have lived at the hospital and Ronald McDonald house in Salt Lake while Indy underwent treatment, skin grafts and physical therapy and the young parents underwent the most emotionally traumatic experience of their lives. Today, we got to visit with them for the first time since coming home, and we spent 3 hours just watching Indy play and being grateful that she is healing and happy.. We have watched them all emerge from a battle, that goes on still, stronger than ever, and strengthening us. It has given me new, literal insight into the words of the Savior, "I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction." We do not know how strong we are, but He knows. Indy, Tessia, and Braiden, we love you.
