Happy Campers

The Fourth of July holiday was festive and rewarding as holidays always are with family. It is the perfect small town holiday as well because our entire town was bustling with activities and it is small enough to walk everywhere. The weather was gorgeous and Chris and Lori and Ben and Renee brought their families in the evening for a BBQ and Fireworks.

We are getting really geared up here for the Boise Temple Open House and accompanying Youth Spectacular (which will include 6-7,00 and Dedication. We're so EXCITED that President Monson is coming! There is no exact date yet because they are having some difficulties finding appropriate venues and have asked us to pray for paths to clear, but for sure during the last quarter of the year so Jordan will be here.

This week Fred leaves for Santa Fe on business. I don't think I'll every be able to anticipate those trips with excitement until we are in a position where I can accompany him. I miss him when he's gone. Next week Eden will be gone for Boise Youth Spectacular. The following week Mikayla comes home, and the week after all the girls go up to Donnelly for the Granddaughter Party which they are so looking forward to and Abe is already feeling lonely about. The summer is really starting to move, but it's all good (except Fred leaving) so we're happy campers (especially since camping is actually not involved. =)

Quote of the week:
“Do not allow yourselves to be made to feel inadequate or frustrated because you cannot do everything others seem to be accomplishing. Only you and your Father in Heaven know your needs, strengths, and desires. Around this knowledge your personal course must be charted and your choices made.” ― Marvin J. Ashton
